Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A dirt crawlspace in South Kingstown, RI had clear signs of debris and moisture. The homeowner wanted to transform the crawlspace so it's healthier, dryer and better to breathe in. To do that, our production team completely got rid of all the debris, encapsulated the area with CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep moisture out and installed SilverGlo wall insulation to reflect heat back in! 

This damp, narrow crawlspace in Wakefield, RI was in need of both waterproofing work and an encapsulation system. With a wet exposed earth floor, support beams holding moisture, and either missing or ineffective insulation - an overhaul was definitely necessary. DryZone's inspector and installation crew did an incredible job diagnosing, planning and executing this project which included: out CleanSpace vapor barrier encapsulation system and drainage matting (to create a protective firmer barrier beneath the CleanSpace and allow for water drainage), SilverGlo spray foam and foam board insulation, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, Mold-X mold and mildew treatment, and a SuperSump Plus sump pump system to handle any instances of flooding!

A wet basement in North Providence would always have water trickling down the walls and emerging out of the floor of the foundation. This was bringing in moisture, the possibility of mold growth, and musty odors. To keep the moisture to a low, we placed CleanSpace wall vapor barrier onto the walls. This creates a layer of a thick white liner to block out the outside moisture form trying to get in. 

A customer in Holliston, MA was constantly dealing with his damp crawlspace. There was some mold growth due to excess amounts of moisture getting in, so it was time to change things! With CleanSpace vapor barrier installed, this crawlspace has moved on from its dark, cold days. Less moisture getting in means less chances of mold growth and odors. We also placed in SilverGlo wall insulation to reflect heat back in, heating up the area! 

A homeowner in Holliston, MA had a damp crawl space that was not getting any better. The more water vapor that got in, the more likely mold will grow! But we put a halt to the concern by encapsulating this crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier system. This barrier is designed to prevent outside water vapor from getting in, this crawl space will remain humid-free for years to come.
