In Assonet, Ma, this home’s leaking basement was not something the homeowners were looking forward to dealing with at this time, but unfortunately the water could not be ignored. We had our crew go out and install our Waterguard drainage system around the perimeter along with CleanSpace vapor barrier. These two work great together to keep the basement dry from water seeping in from the walls by protecting the inside with the barrier and making a path to the Waterguard at the bottom that connects to a sump. We used our strongest sump pump, the TripleSafe, for the best protection in this basement and for this customer.
In Quincy, MA this crawlspace was dealing with some dampness and was looking for a way to keep moisture out while also keeping it clean! Our solution was CleanSpace, a vapor barrier that will protect the space from pests, moisture and dirt, creating a much cleaner appearance.
This damp, musty, dirt floor crawlspace in Quincy, MA was in need of some work to bring it up to date. The most important items included the installation of a vapor barrier and a dehumidifier to help keep those issues under control, as well as to help create a barrier between the dirt floor and the main living space's subfloor. Our inspector, Jake, know that our patented CleanSpace vapor barrier system and SaniDry Sedona were just what the doctor ordered for this crawlspace. And to help regulate and maintain temperatures within the crawlspace and main living area - new SilverGlo foam board insulation was installed, too! This crawlspace is looking as good as new thanks to DryZone's help!
Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed in this Quincy, MA crawlspace. The issue this homeowner was related to humidity, as the area felt cold and damp. The moisture condensed onto the crawlspace walls so that's why our CleanSpace is the perfect solution since it will prevent moisture from entering.
This homeowner in Quincy, MA gave us a call because the first floor in their home was cold due to their crawl space. The crawl space was previously insulated with fiberglass insulation which was covered in wooden boards along the ceiling as seen in the 'before' picture. On installation day, our crew removed the fiberglass and wooden boards from the ceiling and then insulated the walls of the crawl space with our SilverGlo insulation, which is much better at regulating temperature. They also encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier which seals it off from outside harm like water. Over the vents of the crawl space, the crew installed our CleanSpace vent covers and over the door, our Everlast Door. Having the crawl space properly insulated and sealed off from the outside weather will keep the temperature of the home regulated and the homeowner will no longer be feeling cold because of their crawl space!
