This narrow dirt and sand floor crawlspace located in Truro, MA was in need of encapsulation. The homeowners were dealing with insects, rodents and pests gaining access to their living space by means of the crawlspace, and they could not put up with it any longer. Although these products were not specifically designed to keep out rodents and pests, our clients have found them to be incredibly effective at protecting against them! The project, inspected and proposed by Nick A, includes our thick CleanSpace vapor barrier encapsulation system was laid on top of our Drainage Matting, creating an effective barrier between the exposed floor and the underside of the CleanSpace barrier to protect against flooding, moisture and add some insulation. They included wrapping up the bottoms of the supports in the crawlspace, as well, to help protect against deterioration. This crawlspace was given new life thanks to DryZone!
