This additional basement nook storage area had stone & concrete walls, that were allowing water to seep through into this space and also the basement and laundry areas. Although there was a sump pump in place in the basement, it wasn't really able to work for this particular area that was leaking, as the water wasn't making its way to the sump pump, and instead would cause puddling on the floors that just stayed there.
