Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

When the new owners bought this home in East Greenwich, RI they noticed the basement wasn't in the best shape and the leaking water was not going to fit into their plans to use the space for storage. The crumbling brick wall was a main source of the water seepage and a major eyesore, but we had a fix! Our CleanSpace wall could cover that up to seal any moisture coming in there out of the room. Any moisture under the barrier would fall right into the Waterguard and go straight to the SuperSump Plus system for removal. 

A homeowner in East Greenwich, RI called us about water coming through his foundation walls. There were various cracks that allowed water to seep right through, giving this homeowner a hard time. We provided the best solution for him by installing our WaterGuard interior drainage system and connecting it to his current sump pump. Under the concrete you see in the after photo, the production crew jackhammered the inside perimeter to place the WaterGuard in. The WaterGuard creates a small gap between the wall so that seepage can fall right into the system and straight to the sump pump! 

CleanSpace wall vapor barrier was needed in this basement located in East Greenwich, RI. The amount of water vapor getting through these walls was causing distress for the homeowner. To make sure that the air quality in the basement isn't humid, we covered the interior walls with CleanSpace wall vapor barrier! Now, water vapor can't get into this basement for the years to come! 

This partially finished basement and crawlspace located in East Greenwich, RI was due for an upgrade to its existing sump pump system and was in need of a french drain system. DryZone came out to install a full perimeter WaterGuard drainage system and a TripleSafe sump pump system to help eliminate continued issues with water intrusion. This homeowner had contacted DryZone about 4 years ago for a free written estimate and inspection on how to properly waterproof their unfinished basement; at the time of that inspection, they were not fully ready to move forward with our recommendations. But they saved our number and the information they received from us and followed up with us this year to update the proposal and see how we could address their continued water issues.

It was our inspector Dave's professional opinion that this basement with it's configuration, would benefit from having two pumping stations set up. The homeowner ultimately agreed and trusted our professional opinion, and moved forward with the installation of both a SuperSump Plus and a TripleSafe sump pump system, and the installation of both WaterGuard and TrenchDrain drainage systems to capture other water that was coming up through the wall/floor joints. This basement is ready to take on the next rainstorm, without a doubt!
