Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

To put a halt to this madness, our team planned and installed a complete waterproofing system! We lined the interior walls with CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep out the moisture and integrated a full perimeter WaterGuard interior drainage system with a TripleSafe sump pump. Together, water will be collected and pumped out of this basement to keep it dry. Now, this basement will stay in a dry state for many years to come! 

This homeowner in Cumberland, RI was looking to finish their basement but wanted to make sure it was completely waterproof before doing so. They had an existing sump pump from another company but would still occasionally find water in their basement, so they needed a reliable option. When Steve, one of our inspectors, went to the home to take a look at the basement, he came up with a solution that would make it completely waterproof. On installation day, foreman Riley and his crew got to work! They started by lining the basement walls with our CleanSpace Wall System which acts as a vapor barrier to combat water trying to get in through the walls. Around the entire perimeter of the floor, the crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system. They removed the existing sump pump and installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump in the lowest point of the basement. The SuperSump Plus takes all of the water collected by the drainage system and sends it out of the basement through the discharge line. The IceGuard discharge line system was set up on the outside of the home to prevent flooding if the line were to ever get clogged or freeze. The homeowner now feels confident in their basement waterproofing system and is looking forward to finishing their basement!

A contractor in Cumberland, RI reached out to us when they were working on a client's home and noticed the basement had issues with water leaking into it. Our inspector, Mike, met the contractor at the home and drew up a solution during the free estimate appointment. On installation day, our crew, lead by Foreman Lucio, started waterproofing the basement by installing our TrenchDrain grated basement drain on the inside of the bulkhead door. The contractor explained to Mike that water was entering mostly through the bulkhead door, so the TrenchDrain will collect that water and filter it into the sump pump. As seen in the "After" picture, the TrenchDrain is a subtle but effective addition to the basement. To the right of the door, our crew installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump which sends all of the collected surface and ground water out of the basement. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was installed to prevent flooding in case the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes.
