Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A couple from Chepachet, RI had just bought this home two years before seeing water becoming a real issue in their basement. They realized it was because of the wall and floor joints allowing the seepage to happen. To tackle this problem, we noticed they lacked a sump pump system for their unfinished basement so we installed a TripleSafe sump pump. This customer from Whitinsville, MA contacted us because he was tired of his basement becoming a pool whenever there was a heavy rainstorm. To make sure our team prevented future water problems, we installed our trusty TripleSafe sump pump in the corner of this basement. This 3-pump system provides the best protection against heavy rainfalls and power outages. Additionally, we installed a TrenchDrain near the door so that water will be collected and drained to the TripleSafe. 

There was one particular section in this Cumberland, RI basement that was leaking in water from the wall and floor. It was a corner of the basement, so the homeowner had a sump pump installed there. But he noticed that the basement felt damp and humid still, so he called us to see what additional work could be done. Once our inspector was able to visit him and discuss the best possible solution, we ended up applying CleanSpace wall vapor barrier for this homeowner. This will slow down the amount of moisture and vapor trying to get in, which will lower the relative humidity in the basement! The less humid the basement, the longer it will last.
