Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

The home owner in Scituate, Massachusetts was moving in to the property soon but wanted the crawl space to be inspected by DryZone Basement Systems. Our system design specialist Derek Rice went to the property and found old, hanging insulation along with other issues like moisture and damp areas. We were able to come up with a solution to solve the pour insulation problem and dampness which consisted of a vapor barrier lining, spray foam insulation, dehumidifier and a sump pump. 

A homeowner in Scituate, MA needed to encapsulate his crawlspace because it was becoming too damp. The extra moisture was causing humidity levels to rise, so we also rose to the occasion and covered up the area with CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep all the moisture out!

This crawlspace in Scituate, MA was very wet! The fiberglass insulation was soaked through and through, it looked like melted cotton candy on the crawlspace floor. The existing vapor barrier did nothing to improve the condition in the crawlspace. We removed all the debris from the crawlspace and wrapped it with a 20 mil vapor barrier called CleanSpace. We wrapped the piers and sprayed foam insulation in the rim joists. The difference is night and day!

Teamed up with the TripleSafe sump pump, for three pumps worth of security, and the final touch of our Rim Joist insulation, water didn’t stand a chance again the equipment installed in this basement.
