Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A customer in Barnstable, MA was looking for a moisture barrier for his crawlspace. He didn't have any water issues, but the humidity felt very high down there. The best way to reduce the amount of humidity was to encapsulate the whole place with CleanSpace vapor barrier. This will keep moisture from accumulating to avoid the possibility of a musty smell or even mold growth. 

Many crawslpaces, that we deal with every day, looks like the photo on the left. Filled with dirt, falling insulation. Basically a catch-all for garbage and debris. We cleaned up this Hyannis crawlspace and installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier, SaniDry CX and on the right you can see the SmartSump which is where the SaniDry is being discharged to.

The owners of this home in Hyannis, MA wanted to encapsulated and dehumidify their crawl space and gave DryZone a call to tackle the job. Our system design specialist made a plan that our production crew executed to leave another happy customer. Along with a SaniDry dehumidifier, we encapsulated the basement with CleanSpace, a vapor barrier that will protect the inside from the outside elements such as rain, melting snow, dirt, and pests. SilverGlo insulation was also used on the walls of the crawl space which will work to keep the inside of the crawl space temperature regulated, perfect for spaces with humidity issues.

The customer's crawl space needed some attention. He did not want to live with draft floors and a humid and musty crawl space. We were able to help.
