This new homeowner in Great Barrington, MA gave us a call when they were planning on moving into the house. They wanted the crawl space to be encapsulated shortly after they moved in so our appointment center worked with them to make sure that happened! On installation day, our crew started by removing any debris that was in the space. Then they laid down drainage matting over the floor of the crawl space to prevent any water from pooling inside. They insulated the walls of the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation which regulates temperature and won't deteriorate over time. Then the crew fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. They installed our CleanSpace SmartDrain to keep the space dry and they lastly set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity low. Now the homeowner is free to fully enjoy their new home without worrying about the crawl space!
