On installation day, foreman Lucio and his crew got to work! They began by laying our drainage matting over the dirt floor and insulated with our TerraBlock and SilverGlo insulations. The drainage matting allows water to flow under and out of the space instead of getting stuck inside of it. The TerraBlock is laid over the drainage matting and insulates the floor while the SilverGlo insulates the walls, insulation is key for regulating the temperature in the crawl space. Next, the crew was ready to fully encapsulate the space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, which seals of the space and protects it from water and other outside factors. This crawl space also had a vent that lead outside, so the crew installed our Everlast Door over it to completely protect the space from being negatively impacted from the weather.
