Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This crawlspace located in Narragansett, RI is a little larger and taller than some other crawlspaces our crews have worked in the last few weeks! With a brick and stone foundation and exposed dirt floor that their existing vapor barrier wasn't doing much to cover - these homeowners contacted DryZone and were interested in replacing the vapor barrier with something more heavy duty and stronger than what was currently in place. They needed to keep the dampness and moisture down, and on occasions had water that seeped into the crawlspace, as well. Our inspector, Connor, discussed with them the benefits of our CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system, accompanied by our drainage matting that sits underneath, and how crucial having our SuperSump Plus system in place would be to help eliminate any water that accumulates within the crawlspace. In Franklin, MA, this home had a crawl space that was exposed to the earth and filled with moisture and debris. A Providence, RI, homeowner discovered he needed a waterproofing system after seeing water continually make its way through his cinderblock foundation. The issue with cinderblocks is that they are very porous, so water and air easily pass through. They laid down our drainage matting over the dirt floor of the crawl space to allow any water to flow under and out instead of pool inside. Then they insulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation and TerraBlock floor insulation to regulate temperature. The crew then fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal it off and installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity under control year-round. Now the crawl space is clean, dry, and the homeowner can have peace of mind!
