Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A homeowner from Newton, MA called us concerned about her insulation in her dirt crawlspace. It started to grow mold and was falling apart. To solve this issue, we completely cleaned out the old debris and installed SilverGlo wall insulation! This acts acts a radiant barrier to reflect heat back in, keeping the area warm and protected!

The customer in Mansfield, Massachusetts had purchase the home in 2013 and knew the home would eventually need a vapor barrier and basement overhaul. The home was old with a fieldstone foundation basement and crawl space. A major concern of the customer was the water entering into the home and the moisture issue. We were able to help! Our system design specialist Tim was able to design a fully waterproofed basement. Shown here is the before and after of the crawl space side. 

This homeowner in Mansfield, MA had a crawl space in their home that they were looking to encapsulate. The home was built around 1728 and the crawl space had a dirt floor and fieldstone walls, very common in older homes. During a previous project, the dirt floor was covered in tarp but the owner was looking for a better system, we were happy to help! Our inspector Trevor drew up a plan to have the crawl space cleared of any debris and encapsulated, to result in a clean and protected crawl space. On installation day, our crew, lead by foreman MJ, successfully encapsulated the space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. The homeowner can now feel confident that their old home is protected by our new technology.

Crawl space repair is one of our specialties so our inspector, Trevor, was happy to go take a look and draw up a solution. Crawl space encapsulation is a great way to combat moisture issues, so on installation day our crew made it happen! Lead by our foreman, Tomas A, the crew encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal out moisture and they also installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity in the space low. They also sprayed Mold-X2 in the areas of concern to clean and prevent mold from growing back. With the crawl space encapsulated, the homeowner doesn't have to worry about moisture buildup or mold any longer!
