This home in Jamestown, RI had two concrete floor crawlspaces, that were taking on water through the foundation walls and floors. The property owner was looking to see what types of solutions existed for this issue when they reached out to DryZone. After speaking with Ken in our Appointment Center, our inspector Mike went out to perform a thorough evaluation of the crawlspaces and determine what could be done to eliminate this water issue. Our crew, led by foreman Kervin, installed our CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system in both crawlspaces; a SmartSump crawlspace sump pump system was installed in one crawlspace, while the other had a TripleSafe sump pump system installed (the heigh and depth of the foundation in this second crawl would allow for it). And to top it off, a new SaniDry Sedona was installed to help maintain a relative humidity, one that is too low for mold or mildew to grow, keeping these crawlspaces dry and issue-free for years to come!
This returning client of DryZone's reached back out to their original inspector, Michelle, to see if there was any possibility we could help with insulating the basement walls. As it so happens, DryZone does carry a product called Fomax, which can help create better insulation in the basement. Foamax is installed along exterior perimeter walls to create an additional barrier of insulation and help to protect against extreme temperature differences within the space. Michelle already being familiar with their basement was able to prepare a quote in no time, and worked with the Production Department to get them in quickly as New England enters their 'false spring' season, where it could be 55 degrees and sunny on Monday, and by Tuesday morning - there's 2 inches of snow on the ground and temperatures are hovering around 30 degrees. Better to be prepared for any situation with help from DryZone!
This home in Medfield, MA had their basement walls insulated with SilverGlo! Take a look!
The owner of this crawlspace in Weston, MA was seeking help due to the amount of moisture creeping in. There were clear signs of moisture in the crawlspace, along with some water damage in the walls. Our solution for this issue was to apply CleanSpace to give the crawlspace a vapor barrier, along with our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to prevent moisture from getting into the air!
A homeowner in Seekonk, MA gave us a call because they were interested in having their crawl space encapsulated. On installation day, our crew started the project by removing all of the debris in the space, then they laid down our drainage matting over the dirt floor. On top of the drainage matting and along the walls of the crawl space, the crew installed our CleanSpace encapsulation system. Then they installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity in the space low. Lastly, the crew installed our EverLast door over the crawl space entrance to further seal it off from the outdoor weather conditions. The homeowner is very happy with their improved crawl space!
