This homeowner in Cohasset, MA reached out to us because they had some concerns with humidity in the crawl space of the home they recently moved into. Our inspector, Jake, went to the home to take a look at the crawl space and drew up a solution. On installation day, Foreman Riley and his crew started repairing the crawl space by removing debris and regrading the soil to allow for easy drainage, then they laid down our drainage matting over the dirt floor. The crew encapsulated the entire crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier and used our SprayFoam insulation to completely seal off the space. Lastly, the crew installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the crawl space to control humidity. Now the homeowner can feel nothing but confidence about their new home.
The new owners of this Cohasset, MA home were concerned when they noticed the floors in new home were a bit uneven. After further inspection in the crawl space, they noticed some of the support columns were in rough shape which was slowly causing the house to sink in some areas! Our team was able to go out and add new, reliable support columns, Smart Jacks, to lift and support the home to prevent future sagging.

A very common concern we hear is about fieldstone foundations in basements, like this one in Cohasset, MA. The stone and concrete combination usually has a hard time holding up against water so those problems are not uncommon in fieldstone basements. Our solution for those leaking walls is Waterguard around the perimeter with CleanSpace on the walls. While the Waterguard collects any leakage, the CleanSpace keeps the water seeping through from getting into the basement and directs it right into the drainage system. The CleanSpace also keeps out pests and prevents any mold growth from happening on those walls, and not to mention a much cleaner look to the basement.

The final look is clean and dry!
