Challenge

This homeowner in Coventry, RI reached out to us because their home's foundation was failing and they needed professional structural help. Our inspector, Dave, visited the home and saw that there were cracks in the foundation and the first floor of the home was starting to slope. He drew up a solution that would reverse these issues and fix the structural integrity of the home.

Solution

On installation day, our foreman, Julius, and his crew got to work! They installed our Push Pier system beneath the foundation on the outside of the home. The Push Piers are driven deep into the soil beneath the foundation to stop the settlement problems. They lifted the foundation back to its original position, closing the cracks and reversing the structural damage that had already happened. Once the Push Piers were in place, the crew backfilled the soil that was removed during installation, leaving the home looking how it did before we arrived, but now it's structurally sound! The homeowners felt a huge wave of relief once this project was completed.
