Challenge
This homeowner in Narragansett, RI had worked with our inspector, Steve, on a previous project when they needed their crawl space encapsulated. When the homeowner realized they might need some structural support added to their crawl space, they didn't hesitate to reach out to Steve for help. He went back out to the house to assess the crawl space's structural issues and drew up a solution that would stop and reverse the sagging of the floors.
Solution
On installation day, our foreman, Kervin, and his crew showed up ready to make the crawl space structurally sound. They installed six of our SmartJack Stabilizers throughout the crawl space. SmartJacks are strong beams made of galvanized steel that can be adjusted to reverse the floor sloping that has already occurred.
