Repairing a Sagging Floor in Hyde Park, MA
Challenge
This homeowner in Hyde Park, MA gave us a call and explained that their home's main level was sagging due to the wooden support beams in their basement weakening. Our inspector, Trevor, went out to the home to assess the home's support system and he drew up a plan to reinforce the structural integrity by adding support through the basement. Trevor was also optimistic that the solution would allow for the home's main level to be lifted back to it's original position.
Solution
On installation day, our foreman, Riley, and his crew arrived ready to stabilize the sagging floor. They installed our SmartJack stabilizing system throughout the basement, which consisted of two SmartJacks and a supplemental beam. Our stabilizing system is made of galvanized steel, so it won't rust, rot, our weaken over time.
