Crawl Space Support in Holland, MA
Challenge
The owner of this home in Holland, MA had a crawl space that was dealing with some moisture issues for some time. After contacting our company previously and having a crew out to encapsulate, they wanted to discuss some structural concerns they now had. After the crawl space facing excessive moisture, the wooden structural columns weren’t as strong and sturdy as they once were and needed some assistance.
Solution
After an inspection, our team was able to go into the encapsulated crawl space and added our SmartJacks to supplement the existing supports. SmartJacks are made of galvanized steel so they are sturdy and designed to last. They have an adjustable top bracket that can be adjusted to bring the floor above back up to its original spot, reducing bounce and sloping. The install was simple and the SmartJacks were able to add support and extra value to the home!
