This homeowner in Providence, RI gave us a call because the main support beam across the ceiling of their basement was starting to fail which was causing the floors of the home to slope. Our inspector, Benny, went to the home to assess the basement's structural issues and drew up a solution. On installation day, our foreman, Kervin and his crew installed our SmartJack Stabilizing System throughout the basement. They first installed our Supplemental Beam, which is made of galvanized steel, to reinforce the main support beam of the basement's ceiling. The SmartJacks themselves are also made of galvanized steel and were installed vertically along the supplemental beam. SmartJacks can even be adjusted to reverse the floor sloping that has already occurred above. Now the homeowner no longer has to worry about the structural integrity of their basement!
